Group 1 Results: Candidates' concern to stop Group-1 results
Candidates are expressing their anger over the Telangana Group-1 results. A large-scale protest was held at Osmania University , alleging that the results were rigged . Candidates took out a rally from the OU library to the Arts College, raising slogans and turning the college premises into a hubbub. They are demanding that the government immediately stop the Group-1 results.
Objection to massive selection from three centers
The candidates participating in the agitation said that it is suspicious that more than 100 candidates were selected from just three centers, while there are many examination centers across the state. They demanded a full investigation into the selection process and steps be taken to ensure transparency. They felt that it was unfair to ignore the better performance of students in many areas.
Questions on Telugu language – Students' concerns
Another key aspect of the agitation was the feeling that justice was not being done to Telugu. The students protested against the authorities, chanting slogans like “Will you ban Telugu?” They warned that they would continue to fight for their rights and if necessary, expand the movement across the state. The society is waiting for the government’s response on the Group-1 exam results.
