The Kalyana Mahotsavam of Ontimitta Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy, which is celebrated with devotion every year on the occasion of Ram Navami, will be even more special this year. Arrangements have been made for the devotees to sit comfortably and watch the marriage. The authorities have taken full care of every little detail so that no one feels inconvenienced.

Keeping in mind the situation where lakhs of devotees cannot watch the Kalyanam live, 13 huge LED screens have been installed in the surrounding areas of the temple. Through these, the Kalyanam scenes can also be seen live. Moreover, live broadcast arrangements are being made online. The technical measures taken by the authorities to ensure that people can watch with devotion wherever they are are commendable.

Security arrangements are strict – advance arrangements made for the rush of devotees

In view of the rush of devotees, the police department, fire department and medical departments have been deployed. About 2 thousand policemen have been deployed and focused on traffic control and security. Medical teams are ready for emergency services. A temporary hospital has also been set up nearby. Special routes have been set up for the elderly, pregnant women and children. Appropriate arrangements have been made for cleanliness under the auspices of the CPS.
