Revanth Reddy: CM Revanth reviews Hyderabad development, approves new projects

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has focused on the Musi revitalization project, which is set to become another key chapter in the development of Telangana state . In a review meeting held at the Command Control Center on Friday, he gave clear guidelines to all the officials. He explained how this project can serve as a guide for tourism, resource conservation and beautification of the city.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy held a review meeting with senior officials at the Command Control Center on Friday on the revival of Musi. Officials gave a PowerPoint presentation of the sample designs prepared by consultancies regarding the bridge to be built on the Mir Alam tank . The Chief Minister made several suggestions on the occasion.

Gandhi Sarovar at Bapughat

The restoration of Gandhi Sarovar at Bapughat was given priority as part of the construction project. The CM suggested that this place, apart from having a special place in history, should be made a symbol of peace and cleanliness. If this project is completed, it has the potential to bring more respect to the city.

Mir Alam Tank Bridge

Chief Minister gives top priority to construction of bridge over Mir Alam tankConsidered. He instructed the officials to call tenders for the construction of this bridge in June. He suggested that the necessary surveys, reports and designs be prepared and DPR be submitted before the tender process. This bridge will be two and a half kilometers long. The CM suggested that it should be designed to be attractive with interesting design and lighting, giving maximum priority to the safety of visitors. The Chief Minister said that there are three islands in the Mir Alam Tank, which should be developed to resemble 'Gardens by the Bay'. He suggested that a bird's paradise, waterfalls, adventure park, amphitheatre and theme park should be set up on these islands. In addition, he said that attractions such as convention centers, resorts, hotels and boating should be planned so that it can also become a wedding destination, especially for tourists.

The availability of water in the Mir Alam tank and the intensity of water flow during floods should be estimated in advance and designs should be made with foresight without any future problems. The CM suggested that a survey should be conducted with experts in hydrology and environment or renowned organizations in the field for this project and all necessary permissions should be obtained accordingly. Along with the Mir Alam Bridge, this island zone should be connected to the adjacent zoo park. The zoo park should be upgraded keeping in mind the development plans here. All the possibilities for upgrading should be examined in consultation with the zoo authorities and as per the rules. All the development proposals should be made more attractive to tourists, the Chief Minister suggested. Government advisors Vem Narendra Reddy, Srinivasa Raju, senior officials of the Municipal Department and Musi Riverfront Development Corporation participated in the review meeting.
