Officials say that if all these tariffs are added together, it will be almost 35 percent.

'Half of a lakh is taxes and expenses'
If the latest duties are included, a duty of Rs. 26,000 will now be paid to export shrimp worth one lakh rupees. It is estimated that if anti-dumping duty and countervailing duty are also included, more than Rs. 35,000 will have to be paid. This is in addition to transportation and packing costs. Some farmers said that half of a lakh rupees is being spent on these taxes and transportation costs.
