Turkey: Government arrests journalists over protests in Turkey
The government of Turkey has released photojournalist Yasin after two days in jail after arresting journalists covering widespread protests . The arrests come as part of
a wave of unrest that has erupted in Istanbul two weeks after the arrest of
Istanbul Mayor İmamoğlu . Some 2,000 people have been detained in the unrest.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called for a crackdown on the protests .“Street terrorism”Calling it (money attacks), they alleged that it would cause damage to the country.
